At Hotel Brandstätter in Salzburg, we live sustainability and regionality with deep conviction. Our commitment to the environment and the region is reflected in every decision we make. We act proactively and responsibly to contribute positively to the future.

Eco-friendly Cleaning
Almost 90% of our cleaning products carry an environmental label and are therefore particularly eco-friendly. Thanks to modern dosing systems, we also reduce consumption and conserve valuable resources.

Our Garden – A Paradise for Nature and Insects
Even outside the hotel, we focus on sustainability. Our garden is planted with numerous trees, shrubs, and flowers that not only create a natural atmosphere but also provide a valuable habitat for bees and other insects. Through targeted greening, we actively contribute to biodiversity preservation and create a place where nature and tranquility are in harmony.

Water Conservation Made Easy
With innovative water-saving systems in our hotel rooms, we aim to further minimize water consumption while ensuring your comfort is not compromised.

Homemade with Love
True craftsmanship holds great value for us. That’s why we offer homemade specialties in our hotel, such as our popular jam, made exclusively with fruits from Austria.

Waste Reduction with a System
We use plastic packaging sparingly and strive to use alternatives wherever possible. Soap and shampoo are provided in eco-friendly dispensers – without small single-use portions. Slippers are issued at the reception as needed, also without plastic packaging.

Sustainable Mobility
We also focus on sustainability in terms of mobility: Two E-charging stations are available for our guests, and the perfect connection to public transportation ensures easy access to downtown Salzburg. Bus tickets can be obtained directly at the reception. Additionally, we offer two E-bikes for rent to explore the surroundings in an environmentally friendly way.

Regionality You Can Taste

For the preparation of our dishes, we use only fresh, high-quality products from the region. We place great emphasis on supporting local producers and promoting the regional economy. Directly from the area and without detours – that’s what you can taste!

  • Eggs: Our own chickens provide fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. The remaining eggs are sourced from Bio-Eggs Family Hillerzeder in Anthering

  • Vegetables & Fruit: Wolfgang Schwaighofer in Salzburg | Bauer Putzhammer in Salzburg-Liefering | Martin Lehner in Haag, Lower Austria

  • Fish: Siegfried Schatteiner in Golling, Salzburg | Fischer Abel in Mondsee, Upper Austria | Fischerei Schloss Fuschl

  • Bread: Bäckerei Reichartseder in Frankenmarkt | Resch & Frisch in Salzburg

  • Meat: Johann Mache in Salzburg (beef, veal) | Öller & Brandstätter in Seekirchen, Salzburg (chicken) | Game from our own hunting grounds in Radstadt

  • Sausage & Ham: Raw ham and salami from Vulcano Schinkenmanufaktur in Feldbach, Styria | Berger Ham in  Sighartskirchen, Lower Austria

Through these partnerships with local suppliers, we can not only guarantee the freshness of our dishes but also contribute to supporting regional agriculture and sustainable production.
